Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually (hourly pay structure with overtime eligibility)

Overview:
A rapidly growing immigration and business law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to manage employment-based and family-based visa applications. Reporting directly to the Managing Attorney, this role will lead the end-to-end visa process and ensure compliance with USCIS, DOL, and DOS regulations. This is a client-facing role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and file various visa applications, including EB-1 through EB-5, TN, H-1B, J-1, O-1, OPT, EAD, I-130, I-140, I-485, and I-765
Conduct legal research related to employment-based and family-based immigration matters
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of filings, approvals, and supporting documentation
Ensure full compliance with all relevant immigration regulations and filing requirements
Monitor case status, update clients, and meet internal deadlines and service level expectations
Distribute approval notices and assist clients with consular appointments and travel documentation
Communicate directly with clients, providing best-practice guidance and timely updates

Qualifications:
Associate degree in legal studies or equivalent legal experience
Minimum 2 years of experience managing high-volume visa processing and filings
Proficiency with USCIS, DOL, and DOS filing systems and document management tools
Strong writing, organization, and client communication skills
Bilingual in Spanish required; additional languages such as Portuguese, Chinese, Tagalog, Korean, or Russian preferred
Must be able to commute to the Fort Lauderdale office five days per week during the initial 3-month probation period
