Peraton is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

What you will do:

• Lead the deployment of open-source software in a cloud environment
• Build and test a Helm chart for the deployment of containerized web services
• Create and deploy Azure GovCloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Build automated pipelines for security assessments, testing, and deployment of Infrastructure as Code
• Support security audits and assessments of deployed infrastructure
• Support modification of PHP open-source web services

Schedule:

• Core hours are 0930-1430 Monday-Friday to ensure overlap with the team, attendance is expected outside of this window as needed to support meetings, deployments, and team activities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Associates degree and 7+ years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience; OR Master’s Degree and 3+ years of experience. Or 0 years with PhD. However, four (4) years of additional relevant experience or specialized training will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret clearance.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.

Required Technical Qualifications:

• Expertise developing Kubernetes objects and Helm charts
• Expertise deploying infrastructure with automated pipelines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience writing Terraform for deploying Azure GovCloud infrastructure
• Experience developing web services with PHP
• Experience integrating software with single sign on solutions
• Experience developing automated tests for web services
• Experience with agile software delivery lifecycles, with particular emphasis on requirements
• analysis, design, and testing experience.
• Experience working in a disconnected network (not connected to the internet).

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
